Positive Masculinity Club Support

WHY PMC's?

Honoring Kas’s Legacy Through the Young Men He Believed In

For nearly four decades, Kas Ioane dedicated his life to education, coaching, and mentoring young people. His classrooms and teams were places where students felt seen, challenged, and supported.

While the Kas Ioane Foundation continues its commitment to raising funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia, we also proudly invest in the kind of youth-centered work that reflects who Kas has always been: an educator, a coach, and a mentor to young men.

Supporting Positive Masculinity Clubs is a direct extension of that legacy.

Positive Masculinity Club in Action

These images capture a Positive Masculinity Club session at South Salem High School, including our session setup, student-created reflection tools, and the visual language that emerged from student discussion. The word cloud reflects how young men named accountability, support, interruption, and care as part of healthier responses to harm and peer pressure.

Powered by KIF. Built for Growth.

Positive Masculinity Clubs at South Salem were launched through intentional support from the Kas Ioane Foundation, with prior donor outreach and sponsorship efforts helping build momentum for the pilot.

KIF currently underwrites core participation costs—including meals, snacks, and session support—while future donor and grant funding will help expand the model to include completion-based student stipends and additional school sites across Oregon and Montana.

Help Bring Positive Masculinity Clubs to More Schools

The Kas Ioane Foundation is committed to expanding Positive Masculinity Clubs to more middle schools and high schools across Oregon and Montana.

Current support from KIF helps provide meals, space, and session resources for participating students. Additional donor and grant support will help us expand to new school sites and provide completion-based stipends for student leaders who commit to the full five-session experience.

If you are interested in sponsoring a school, partnering on expansion, or helping fund student leadership stipends, we would love to connect.
