Kas spent 39 years as a teacher and coach in the Billings Public School District. Literally thousands of students, parents and colleagues have come to know “Coach Ioane” as a source of encouragement, hope and enthusiasm for life. As he battles dementia (Alzheimer’s type) in his later years, we as his family members are determined to carry on his legacy of helping others. The KIF’s mission will be find worthy causes, research and individuals who we know “Dad” would have wanted to help and raise money for them.
Golfing For Awareness, Action, and Fellowship
Our annual scramble combines our namesakes favorite hobby, the community he loves and the opportunity to join together in joy and competition while raising money for our fight against Alzheimer’s & Dementia in all it’s forms
Coaching Is In Our DNA
Our namesake spent the entirety of his career as “Coach Ioane”, giving life lessons through basketball, golf, track and field and physical education. Our Kas Ioane Foundation Coaching Solutions Seminar(s) exist to further the development of the next generation of coaches who want to impact lives beyond the scoreboard.
